Rachael earned her BPS (Bachelors of Professional Studies) in Dance Performance with a concentration in Ballet and in Modern from SUNY Empire College. While there, she studied privately under Tammy Clark, an ex-principal ballerina from the Texas Ballet Company,
under Rebecca Carter Morningstar, and under Meggins Kelly. She also studied under other prominent modern dancers and choreographers, such as Ada Shedlock and Christine Fendley. Rachael is and has been the artistic director, main choreographer, and a soloist of the professional company entitled Pointes of Faith Dancers, Inc. (POF) since its beginning in November of 2000. In 2004, the Pointes of Faith Dancers, Inc. received a New York State Council on the Arts Grant. Rachael also founded the Turning Pointe Dance Company while in college. Through the POF and The Turning Pointe Dance Company, Rachael has professionally written, choreographed and danced in over 45 full length dance concerts throughout New York, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. Rachael is the artistic director and teaches for the Steps of Faith Dance Studio (run by the POF) located in Lyons, N.Y.
